A very fair audience assembled in the Wangaehu room on Thursday evening to hear a lecture on Scotland's greatest Philanthopist," Dr Guthrie," by the Rev. J. Dukea. Musical items were rendered by Mesdames Boagey and Ralph, Miss Williams and Miss Perry, and by Messrs Boagay and Ralph, and were much appreciated, Mr McEenzie occupied the chair, and moved a hearty voto of thanks to the lecturer and singers.
