All the implements, etc., whioh ~ 'were sold first wentoffyery well, high 1 pricos being realised, though when we -* came to sell tho cattle bidding was not brisk, but still every line was cleared at satisfactory rites, the dairy c.ws - averaging about £5 eucb. .The turnips sold at a high figure, tealising j_ £9l. We quote 8 year steers, £i 8s ca 6d; fat and forward bullooks, £6 8a; ru year steers, £3l6s Gd; 18 months to 2 year steers, £2l9s; dairy cows up to £6 ss. Tbero was only a small entry of cattle at our Mauia yards on Wednesday, the 11th iust, and bidding was - fist throughout, especially for sheep, though at the close of the ealo nearly the whole of the cat tie changed hands.
