P.Rev«ll,-Mr Pownall for plaintiff. Olaira for 18b 10'1 for carrying and paying rail' way freight on goods for defendant. Judgment, by default. Q. 8. W. Dalrymple v. V 7. WJff. —Mr Pownall for defendant Mr Jackson for plaintiff. A claim for £4 19s 7d by plaintiff, balance of money; due defendant pleading bankruptcy in Feb.; 1891, after the debt was incurred, Mr Jackson maintained that merely filing a schedule of bankruptcy was not sufficient (o bar an aotion. An order for discharge was required. Mr Wolff said he bought a gun from Mr Dalrymple and paid £7 for it, £3 was also paid for life insurance mium.Mr D-tlrymple deposed that he had paid the premiums for defendant. His Worship reserved judgment. I Mißßayner v, T. Hartley.—Mr Pownall for plaintiff, Mr Bunny for defendant, A. claim of £2O for board and lodgings. Defendant offered 10s, pleading that the balance had been paid. Evidence was given at some length by Mrs Rayner, Miss Iveas of the Royal Hotel, and by defendant. Judgment was given for plaintiff for 10s, a'ud, plaintiffs were nonsuited fir the balance. ' Mrs (J. Taplin'v. W. Mr Beard said his client wab quite willing to give up tne horse if the amount was paid, Mrs Caroline Taplio, widow of Arthur Taplin, of the 'lWrn, deposed that her late hus'mnd had bought the horse from Mr D.
