Fire at Reefton.

Reefton, Friday,Early this morning a fire took place in the Roxburgh stables,.which spread to the Empire Hotel, atone time : threatened a largo block" of buildings, :The stables were totally destroyed, and after fourteen bedrooms in the Empire Hotel bad beed gutted, the brigade got the fire under. It is estimated that the loss of B'.ookanS contents in the Empire Hotel will be about £SOO. The insurances effected on the building &teßoyal £250,' Standard £2so,Norwich Union £IOO, Commercial Union £3OO. On the furniture £2OO in the Phomix. The stable is believed to bo insured for a a small amount in N.Z,
