WAIRARAPA RACING CLUB.
Special Meeting, (From Our Own Correspondent.) A special meeting oflhe Wuirarap# Racina Club was beld in the Empire Hotel, Featliersfon, last evening, Mr W. ill. Bidwill occupying tbe clmir, It was resolved that n letter ofoon dolence bo sont to Mrs McSliane on tbe loss of bcr husband, who bad taken a very aotivo interest in tbe Club's welfare. It was resolved to appoint Mr A. R. MaoFarlane as Landicapper, thus avoiding tbe necessity of tbe readjustment system after tbe Masterton meeting. Mr Reynolds was appointed Treasurer vice tbe late Mr MoSbane, and Mr H. Morrison was elected a Stoward vice Mr Reynolds, being next on ballot at tbe last annual meeting. Permission was granted to bold a picuic of the Featberston public school oo tbe Tauborenikau course on the usual conditions, It was decided that in future all accounts be submitted to tbe Stewards before payment.
