Fatal Accident to a Fireman,
(By Telegraph-Press Association), Names, Februaay 27th. A man named Alexander Mitohel], a fireman on board the steamer Fanny, was killed this afternoon. The machinery was beiog cleaned, and tbo ft"amer was turned oil' and the engine stoppvd, but the cranks weri a little off the centre. Mitobell dropped iho pin undor the crunk, and reached d iwn to get it, when through some unexplained cause the engine moved, &nd one of the cranks crushed bis head against an eccentric, He never recovevid consciousness. Mitchell leaves a wife and fouryotingcbildren.
