MASTERTON HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.

Monthly Meeting, The usual monthly meeting of tbo Masterton Hospital Trustees was held yesterday afternoon, in the Borough Council Chamber. There were present Messrs J. C. Boddington, 15, Feist, G, S. W. Dalrymplo, J. B. Keith, aud Rev. Father J. McKenna. CUAIRMAN, Mr J. C. Boddington was again elected Chairman for (ho ensuing yeur, on the motion of Mr Keith. Mr Boddington returned thanks for renowal of confidence shown in him by tbe Trustees, MINUTES, The minutes ol the previous meeting were read and confirmed, TREASURER'S REPORT. A credit balance of £2l 6s lOd was reported, HOSPITAL DIARY. The Hospital Diary \im read, At present there are six males and two females at present in tho Hospital. ACCOUNTS. Tbo following accounts were passed for payment. 0. Hughes, £2los 2d; S, Kingdon, £1 12s Gd; H. Jones, £1 17s sd; G. Johnston, £7 7s 6d; J. Wickeus, £1 7s 9d ; W. Whitt, £5. VISITING MEMBER. The Rev, Father McKenna was appointed visiting member for the ensuing mouth, LAND PURCHASE. Mr J. 0. Boddington said that he had seen Mr Beethatn and Mr Rawson in connection with the f acre section of land adjoining the hospital ground, to be purchased by the Trustees, £ls was the amount required, and since tho funds of the Hospital were low the Vendors would be satisfied with a deposit and instalments, to be paid when convenient, In answer to Rev, FatherMoKenna, ,Mr Boddington said they had already decided to tako the lsni. They had merely had a right of way on sufferance from Messrs. Williams and Beetham, The land would be useful in the future for a yard and out-buildings, Mr Dalrymple was understood to demur to the price as excessive, Mr Feist moved that the land bo acquired, and the motion was carried, The Trustees then went into committee to consider patients' accounts,
