THE MANGATAINOKA AND MATARAWA BRIDGES.

Welling ion, Tuesday. The Minister of Lands states that the subsidy of £SOO, for the bridge at Pahiatua, over the Uangatainoka, will be available whenever the work is undertaken.

In reply to a deputation from Greytown, he has promised to get a report prepared on the Crown Lands of the district, and to submit to his colleagues a proposal for bridging the Mataraiva.
