Stuckey, of Te Rangitumau, from tbe Secretary of the Wellington Meat Export Company, has beon forwarded to us for publication, and should be read with interest by ull sbeep breeders, whether in the North or South Island Wellimion, January 30th, 1894. ■ Dbib Sib. —The crossbred Southdown sheep and lambs killed for you this morning mo on exceptionally good lot and could b'ardly be beaten for freezing. If North Island breeders generally could send in such stock for freezing the difference in price between North and South Island meat would disappear at onco, as Ido not think anything better could be shipped, Yours faithfully D, bUDDEK, Sec., Wellington Meat Export Co. To Jas. Sidckei, Esq Optki. ilr Stuckey informs us that the sheep referred to in such favourable terms are 300 sent down to be frozen, bred from Longwool ewes (mostly purchased) and South Down rams,' bred by Mr Stuckey himself.
