CORRESPONDENCE.
k hpkmtm,
[to the editor, w,d. times.]
Sib,—The report in your issue of last Wednesday, of my offer to the Borough Council, is eomeirhat misleading, giving to other architects and tlie public Iho idea that I am willing to work at half rates for the Oounoil, which would bo an improper offer on the part of any professional man. The ofior I made to the Council, and to all other eaediiors was to do any arohiteotural work entrusted to "me by creditors at the ordinary rates allowed by the Wellington Association ol Aichitect's (of which I am a member) and then to remit half the amount of account aB a set-off against the lon made by creditors through my bank" ruptcy. The insertion of this letter in your next issue will oblige, I am, etc., C, Tildeard Natuboh, [The dietiaclion which Mr Natusoh draws does not amount to a differ' ence,—Ed. W.D. Times,]
