Messrs Abraham and Williams re« port a most successful Bale of dairy cows and store cattle at Mr J. lorns farm on Wednesday last. The list comprised 87 dairy cows, 8 bulls, and 120 head store cattle. The attendance .was very lnrge, buyers coming from a great distance outside the district. All lim a sold under the hammer at goDd figures. The dairy cows ranged from £4 16s to £9 per head ;s: ore ; cows, 755; bulls, £2los to £5; yr.uug I dairy heifers, 68s; young steew, 655, 18 months, 50s ; yearlings, 45s ; calves, 9s to 28s; young pigs, 225; milk cans, 10a to lis.
