It is understood that a medical assistant is to be appointed at the Seacliff Asylum,
Kate Birloy, 21 years of age, who was charged in the Police Court last Tuesday with obtaining money by false pretences and remanded, died yesterday aftornoon, She bad been in delicate health fur some time, and was not long discharged from the Hospital. At the inquest the jury returned a verdict that she committed suicide, but there was no evidence to nhow the state of her mind.
