MASTERTON BOYS' CLUB.
A meeting of tho nbovo Club was held last evening, tho Rev W, E. Paige occupying tho chair. The attendance was again large, and several new members were proposed, The President stated that a alight alteration had been made in the time fixed for the formal opening of the Club by the Governor, as His Excel* lency had to return to town as early as possible, The timo now fixed was 1,15 p.m, instead of 2 o'clock. Mr F. Green moved, and Mr C. Webb seconded, that the boys march from th? schoolroom to the Theatre, headed by the brass band.—Carried. Tho following additional subscriptions were received ;-H, H, Beetham £8; Mrs H. H. Bretlnm £2; A. A, Elder 21s; J. MoKae 2.05; S. Mawley 20s; J, Tatham, senr. 10s; J. Tatb.am junr. ss; J, C. Boddington ss; W. two books; W. Waito, junr,ijnfe books; Miss Macara, seven ho»p; J. Bennington, two books'; A.'Walker, one book.
