There is considerable excitement here over this match, the general opinion being that given a fine day, and tho ground in better order than it was on tho last occasion, this mutch I will be a closely couteslsd one,
Tho annual match Wairarapa v, Wellington will be declared oD if the Wairarapa Union do not send a team down to play before the 2?nd inst. The Weloh family of the Wairarapa and the Wellington Football Club, intend playing a match ou Saturday week, Thematoh between tho Orientals and the Municipal Fire Brigade team was won yesterday by the Orientals, with ridiculous ease. Tho score was 20 points to nil.
