Grewown S, Wednesday, In the E.M. Court May, beloro Messrs Hornblow and Price, J.P'b, Annip Pole ob'arged William Pole, lier husband, on two informations I with committing an unprovoked assault on her. On the first charge Pole was sentenced to 48 days in the Wellington gaol, and bound qver to keep the peace for twolve months. On the second oharge he was sentenced to 14 days, to run concurrently with the first sentence.
