Ordinary Meeting.

Tho ordinary meeting of tho above Board was held on September 2nd, 1898. Present—The Chairman, Messrfl Macßae, Miller, and Perry. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, Correspondence was received from Mesßts H, and George Laing, the licensees of Sections 211 and 141, Block 8, Kopuaranga, who desire their thirds to be spent on the Mungerai road, marked Section 146 to 21 lon plan, From the Secretary to the Treasury requesting payment of £2015s 4d, being half year's interest on loan of £BOO.

Messrs Laing and Nicholls wrote requesting that the proposed alterations ol the road up the Mungapura* pura Creek be advortjsed, Tho Audit Office wrote returning the balance sheet certified by the County Clerk, and stating that the proposed alterations in boundaries of road districts had been postponed till next Council meeting.'

From the Commissioner of Taxes stating that voucher has been sent to tbe Treasury for payment of £3O la 3d, full subsidy due forJ^22j!j3, The Mauriceville RrJfWkjwrote stating that the Board balTCsblved to alter its former dooißibn and allow Mr Carswell's property to be transferred to tho Upper Taueru District.
