■ Mr D. Crowe reports: -On Friday tho 29th August I hold a special sale of dairy Block at Pahimuit. Sonio 120 head were yarded, including cows and heifors. Tho attendance was largo but bidding was rather dull except in renl good and young lines, which founed purchasoia readily at good prices, We succeeded in getting the majority of stock yarded off at prices satisfactory to owners, at the same time there was a perceptible indication of a decline in prices all round, On Friday I hflrl a stock sale nt Eketabuna; much moro stock came forward than was advertised. The attendance wan good, but bidding was ra'her dull, except in one or two instances, which toalised top I pricos. Wo managed to quit under tho hummer all yarded, except one pen a', this sale, Thoro was also a decline from former rates,
