Otdinary Meetinq. Tho ordiuary meeting of the above Board was hold on Saturday last. Present- Messrs T. Parsons (Chairman), Anderson, Mavheson, Mowbr«y and Bayliss. Tho minutes of tho previous meetwere read and coufhwl, Correspondence was received from Jfessrs Uriyht, Aulin, and others re lonti of £lls for formation of Oartor and Neilson Streets. It was resolved to inform the petitioners that the amount asked for is not sufficient to do the work as the Engineer's estimate is £3OO. Mr Herbert, W.B.S. No. I,wrote 1 asking the Board to close the Zig Jjug Road, as it is of no use to settlers, and offering to give sufficient land for a now road.. The mattor was referred to the Engineer fur report.

A letter was received from Mr A, Herbert, Sterling S.S, re falling bush line.—Eesolvod that he be informed tjiat the Lands Department will do this work.

Mv Neilson wrote re opening a road to his section.—Eesolved to inform him that no funds are available, Mr King wrote re opening a road to Section No. 1, Block XL, Man-gaono.-Tho application was agreed to, the Engineer to supervise tho work, Mr Turner's application rt falling bush line was referred to the Lauds Department, Mr Larson wrote offering to fall 1 bush on Section <M, Block VJL, at usual raies.—Referred to tho Lands Department-. Resolved that tho Minister of Lands be requested to state his iu. tentiona re roads in tho Sterling S.S., the Board having no funds, A letter was received from the Wairarapa North County Council, onclosing an amended proposal for tbeultorationof boundaries.—Rasolved that tho Board agree to the alteration as ret forth iu the memo. From District Survey Officer re thirds allocated to the Board. The Engineer's loport for the month was read and adopted, Resolved that the Board call the attention of the Public Works Department to the advisability of making the Mangatainoku bridgo available for traffic, as by doing so it would benefit settlers in all adjoining blocks,
