AKITIO ROAD BOARD.
Ordinary Meeting.
A meeting of the Board was held at Aohaaga on Thursday last. Present Messrs Handyside (chairman) Foreman, Murray, Armstrong and Burling. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Letters wero read from Mr A. lloge applying for assistance for cutting bridle track through his section.—From Commissioner of Taxes re subsidy paid—From Treasury re same,-From Commissioner of Crown Lands re tracing for road purposes.—Frora Audit office with account£l forauditing accounts. The Clerk was directed to forward plans of Aohanga Valley road to survey office, Resolved. That a general rate of one half penny in the £be struck for the current year.—That a grant of £8 bo made towards Mr Moge's bridle track providing he will allow the free ÜBe of it to tho public.
Tho-Clerk of works was directed to examip tho work done on Aohanga Valley road and report to next meeting. Accounts amounting to &a 18s were passed for payment, Next meeting waß fixed for 21st inst,
