The Kennedy Dramatic Company,
This long looked for and expected combination will arrive in Maslerton to-day, and will commence what promises to be a big season to-morrow evening. The opening performance will lie Byron's famous comedy,' Our Boys,' which enjoyed a continual run of three years in Loudon, and is now being played with groat success throughout the world, Mr Kennedy takes the part of Mr Middlewick, a retired butterman, a character which he has made a aprcial study of, and played over tbreo hundred times. Ho has received most flattering notices for his excellent acting throughout Australasia. His exceptionally clever daughter "Little Ruby Kennedy," plays the part of Belinda, and according to Southern papers, it is one of the be9t played parts in the ooinedy, and her makeup was orthodox, and her acting and dialogue fairly brought down the bouse, The oompany numbers fifteen performers all told, and during the season here a new play will be staged each evening. On Saturday, the greatsonsationaldrama, " Lancashire L&ss," willbeproduoed. Seats are now being rapidly booked at Messrs Hood and Johnson's.
