Bad Weather Predicted,
A Dastardly Assault
(By Telegraph—Press Associition). Wellington, IrMaj. Capt. Edwin predicts hard westerly gales with rain south of Raglan and Napier, between noon to day and midnight on Saturday next. A most dastardly assault was committed last night on a young man named Gresbain White, and he was robbed of £1 18s Bd. Three men named G. MoKenzie, J. Collins, and Jas Dnuglaß, were this morning charged with the offence. McKenzie, who has tu-ned Queen's evidence, was acquitted, and tho others remanded until Tuesday.
