Resolutions Against Home Rule. Magfala Isylum Grant The Education Act (By Tclogrnpli—Press Association.) Adckund, Saturday. At the half yearly mooting of the Grand Orange Lodge for the North Island of N.Z. the following resolution was carried. "That wo bpgmosr. heartily to convey lu Her Majesty the Queon, onr sympathy and regret thai slio should ho so much annnj ed, and her ponce of mind so much di turhed by tho ill advised action' of Her Majesty';: present Minister*, who seek to destroy the unity of the Em» pire. As Orangemen ever loyal and true toller Majesty's throne and person, we pray the Giver of all good* nesa to confound their wicked devices, and preserve Her Majesty's realm from destruction, and trust that Her Majesty may long reign orer a United Kingdom and peoplo," " That the resolution be forwarded to the Grand Master of England for presentation to tho Queen. It was also resolved to forward a resolution to tho Premier and Mr Rolleston objecting to tho grant to the Magdah Asylum, and strongly opposing any alteration in tho present Education Act.
