The Pall Mall Gazette insists that Mr. Arnold Morley, Postmaster-General, shall resign his seat in the House of Commons', alleging that ho was guilty of bribery and corruption during the last general election, when ho was rnturnod for the East Nottingham constituency, the paper also accuses tho hon. gentle- , man of dishonourable conduct in com. promising a petition against his election, The charges ruade by the Pall Mill Gazette were referred to in the House to-day, when Mr Morley denied tho truth of the accusations, but absolutely re- ' fused to. intiitute an action for libel against the paper. The vessel was boarded after sho came ashore, and it was found that there was nobody on board. It is believed that the whole of tho crew were washed ovorboard by the heavy sea. The vessel was bound from Newcastle to i'ownsvillo with a cargo of coal and general merchandise. She was under command of Captain Anderson, who had with him a man named Thompion as mate, and the following seamen: —Tul* loch, tlolmes, Brown, Hughes, and An* derson. The vessel is apparently brokon in half,
