The Land, and Income Tax.

Donedin, Wednesday. ; The annual /meeting of tho Perpetual Estate find Agency Company has declared a.divideud of twelve and a-half per cent, and a'bonus of two and a-half per cent. The Chairman said the property and money under control, were valued for Land and Income Tax at £419,687, in addition to which thoy had,the management of money and property of clients , who made their own return.' On the-introduc-tion of the Land and luoome Tax, fears were expressed that money wjjuld be withdrawn from the Colony, but such bad .not been the case, and in no instance had it oausedi withdiawal of money under the control of the Com* pany. ~ :
