Woouyime, Wednesday, Mr Stevenson, second muster of the Woodville school has been selected by the Committee lor the Head Master - ship, in place of Mr Morton, who leaves to enter on.his'duties of for the Weatlaud District. Agricultural and Pastoral Association are considering the adoption of the joint system of judging at their shows.
Mr Hooker, the mining expert, has gone to tbe Maharahara oopper mine to report. The owners propose-plac-ing it in tbe English market.
