The pciiiunence of the now business obtained is one of the things desired by lite companies, and it is satisfactoiy to note that tho amount of the net inereaso of the business has been continuously improving for somo yoars past. At the end of the year the total burmess in force on ;:0,310 policies was £b,030,220 in addition to reveraionaiy bonuses of £544,597.
