WAIRARAPA HUNT CLUB.
MEET AT l/lASTERTON, The "nwet" of the Wairarapa Hunt Club which took place yesterday on tho Upper Plain, Masterton, niu well attended by huntsmen. The attendance of the public wan good, including ut number of ladies. The I hounds were undor tho charge of ; Huntsman Roake,and it is generally ; considered that this was the best run I of the season. Tho " throw-off" took place at Ileatherlea, thenco through . tho properties of Messrs Meredith, I Hawkins, Siempa, Sage, McGregor, r Trass, and Evans; returning over the i sumo course and finishing on Mr Hawkins' property. A few spills ; took place during tho run, but no i accidents of a serious nature occuried. Among the huntsmen and the horses , present we noticed: Messrs W. Williams on "Timothy"; Herbert Welch on " Ballahooly"; JR. Wolloron "Rocket"; J. Carter on "Dandy"; Harold Welch on "Mariner"; W. B. Buick on "Playboy"; R. Ronko on "Tom Boy"; and J. Wolleron " Flywheel." i Tlielirst at the,''finish" wore Messrs Roake, Buick and R, Wollor.
