Mr F. B, Wood held a must successful sale of stock and farming implements, yesterday, under instructions from Mr J. Corpe, junr, There was a large and representative atten* danee of buyers from all parts of the district; the bidding was spirited throughout. Prices realised aro quoted 113 follows:—Sheep : Bomney eweß, in lamb to Bomney rams, 2-tooth 12s Gd, 4 tooth 10a 6d, 6-tootb 11a 3d, 8-tooth 12s Id; lambs in the wool, 8s 8d to 10s; culls, 4s 9d; Romney Marsh rams, lfgs to 2-Jgs; forward ewes, 8s 8d; fat wethers, IBs 6d, Cattle: 3-year-old bullooka, 110 a; 2-years, 665; heiters in'oalf, 100s to 105s; yearlings, 85s Gd; dairy cows, 100s to 150s, Horses: Draughts, £lslos to JB20; oolts,. JBlO.to £ls. Tip dray, £ls. Farming implements, tools, harness, timber, etc., sold readily at fair prices, and with good competition.
