General Meeting, A general meeting of the abovo Society was held in tho Club Hotel, Mastorlon, on Saturday last, Tho chair was occupied by the President, Mr t\ Gray, tho other members present being Messrs R. J, Dagg, T. E. Ohamborlain, Walter Perry, R. D, Dagg, J, D. Cameron, J. Harvey, William Perry, J, Hessey, B, E. Ohamborlain, R. Hornblow, G. Welch, I. Sykes, T.P.Lett, R. Campbell, W, Day and tho Secretary (Mr 0. H, Gayfer). It was resolved that Mr Kohn be written to, requesting him to forward the medals ordered as soon as possible. Mr A. R. Perston forwarded his resignation as a member of tho Association.—lt was resolved to ask Mr
Perston to reconsider his resignation. It was resolved " That the Society heartily approve of the compilation of a flock book by the Stock Breeder's Association." An account from Mr R. E. Horn* blow for £o 4* Gd was passod for payment. ' ' ' ' ' A circular from thp Department of Agriculturo was read, requesting the Society to forward suggestions ro the Codlin Moth Bill, the Stock Bill, ana the Land Drainage Bill,—lt waß re solved to inform tbo Department thai as the Bills mentioned have never been forwarded to, the Association, tilt members are unable to discuss th< matter, but will be glad to complj with the request if the Bills are forwarded.
