;". Ordinary Meeting, A meeting of the abovo Board was held on Saturday last. Present: Messrs T, Parsons (chairman), T. Baylies, A, Anderson, M. Noilson, F. W. H, Dowsott, and W. B. Mathcson, ,•■: Correspondence was received from the Colonial Secretary in answer lo a letter from Mr Timmins, asserting that the election of two members of tho Bpi>rd were illegal. The Qovernor-in-Counoil can, how* ever, validate tho election. In the meantime all members are legally in office and are installed in such tflice until a successor is appointed. It was moved by the Chairman, seconded by Mr Allen, that the Ranger receive no further payments from" tbhe Board, unless he follows but' his' instructions according 'to ofms of agreement, ' Mr Petersen Waited on the Board in reference to havipg a culvert shifted to its natural water course on Cobflen Road, to pre Wt the overflow Of water on to his property.- Resolved that the rnattet be left iu the handß pf the Warden. Some accounts were passed for payment and theineoling adjourned,
