Four men will como from Nelson, including Harper and Cresswoll, and Butland (half) and Olliver (forwai d) are already on their way hero to represent the West Coast Onion. It is not yet certain whether Staody, whose play is highly spoken of, will bf> here. Taranaki will be ably represented by Lambie, a big, powerful forward, and A. Bayley, a good centre three quarter, H, Good (back) and A. Good (forward). As already stated, Hiroa, a fast, clever forward, and Howard, well-known in Wellington, will represent Hawke's Bay, Gardiner is expected from South Canterbury, and Emmerson from Wanganui. The Manawatu contingent will consist of Shannon, Matravors, Aldwortb, Cockroft, Modem, Speed and Robinson. Neither Orchard nor Ellioott, it is understood, could get aw»y if chosen. MrE.D. Hoben, the secretary of tho N,Z,R.U,| attended the Management Committee Meeting last night, and gave in the names of 25 players who he expected to be in Wellington next Saturday to take part in the trial match, The Match Committee were authorised to select the local men. The game will be played on No 1 ground, and the net proceeds of the match will bo hauded to the N.Z.R.U.
