SAD FATAL ACCIDENT.
A very sad fatal accident ocoutrfy; yesterday afternoon at about o'clock, at the Star Hotel, Masterton. It appears that. Mr Henry Biobard Low, who has lately taken possession of theStarHotel,had been lying down, when the nnrce in attendance on Mrs Eastwood, wife of the late proprietor, heard a noise as of someone falling' down the' back Btaire, On going out to ascertain the cause shefoun'd:MrLow. lying insensible at the foot of the lire escape. Dr. Douglas was called, and did everything in his power, but the unfortunate man never regained, consciousness, and expired about an hour after his fall. Examination proved that in addition to terrible injoriea to his head, he had broken one arm, Mr Low was 82 years of age, and was well known throughout the Hawko's Bay district.
