Iu the murder caso the witness Lowry deposed he was riding along the road by which Jacobsen would have left his camp oa the day he disappeared,anddidnottneoihim MrJellicoe animadverted on the fact that after two days heading nn evidence of murder hud been adduced and no evidence of anybody being found with respect to tlk charge, of larceny against the scorned. It appeared that daiiibrnok had sold and not lent the camp things, and the charge would probably fall through.
Latest. Smith Dismissed. Mr Graham, R.M., has dismissed the charge of murdering Jacobsen brought against Smith, on the grouuds that tho evidence is not strong enough] to send the case beforo a jury. OS the charge of larcency no evideffl was offered and prisoner has bttnHg charged, ___hH
