Annual Meeting of Subscribers,
The annual general meeting of tubseribers to the above waa held last night in the Library, Mr Wm. Bootb, President, in the chair, The minutes of tlio previous meeting were read and confirmed, The report and balance sheet wero read and adopted. Tbo report stated that during the past year the roof of the building has buen covered with roofing iron and the outside of the building has been painted with three coats of piint. The receipts (inoluding the balance at tho last financial year) were £lO7 18s Id, and the expenditure £9B 8s Od. Subscriptions now owing amount to £23 10b, The following office bearers were elected for the ensuing yearMr W, C, Buchanan, Patron; Mr W. Bqpth, President and Chairman of Committee; Committee; Messrs G, A, Fairbrother, Wm. Downard, K. W. Dorset, Qaaintrill, J. H. Brann, and Dr. Johnston. Mr Downard was re-oleoted Secretary, Mr Parker Librarian, and Mr F. Feist, Auditor. MrG. A. Fairbrother was elected a Trustee in the place of tho late Mr R. Fairbrother. j
