AKITIO ROAD BOARD.

Ordinary Meeting.

A meeting of tho Akitio Road Board was held at Aohonga on Thursday last, Messrs Murray, Foreman and Burling being present, In the absence of Mr Handysido, Mr Murray was voted to the chair.

_' The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, ' The Treasurer reported balance in Bank £5416s 9d. Account presented for payment £l9 7s. It was resolved:—That tbo Olerk enquire from MrHandyside if a reply lias been received from the SurveyorGeneral re grant to Gorge Road and if so, call a special meeting of the Board to consider it. Mr Burling was authorised to have i some repairs done on Aohonga Valley road, and Mr Murray waß authorised to havo Bomo small repaiia done on the Paok Spur.
