The Weslevan Conference received a deputation from tbe various temperance organisations yestorday afternoon. An address was presented dealing with the liquor traffic, and concluding by expressing gratification at the gracious act of the Conference in relieving the Rev. L, M. Isitt to allow him to devote his energies to securing the direct veto.
