Lave.', of Bast Melbourne, who carried out his bat against St. KiMa for 852, a score made up of two s*B, 49 4's, 17 3's, 19 2's, and 57 singles. Laver'a innings extended over three days, Bruce made his scoro in a trifle over six hours, Next to Laver'a, tho three highest individual scores, us far as Australian cricket is concerned, are those of W. Bruce (328 not out), B M'Leod (824), and W. L. Murdoch (321).
