Wellington, MmddSft Thacriminal session of tlia ffl Court opened (bis Chief Justice in charging the Grand Jury said the calendar comprised cases needing no special remarks, He briefly referred to the oliarge against Albert Thomas, of intent to murder J, L. Kirkbride, wounding of a horse in Palmerston North, and charge of indecent assault. Frederick Mitchell, forgery, VP. R.Gilbert, forgery (two oliarges) pleaded guilty, and were remanded for sentence, Thomas will plead Quilty, and a plea of insanity will be urged on liis behalf, A medical certificate from Dr, Steward Btatoa that the accused wit always sooontri?,
