"Music Hath Charms."
[To tho Editor, W.D, Times,] Sib,—l notice in your Saturday's issue Some correspondent has taken your reporter to task for stating that (he Mastorton Orchestra provided the musio at the danceon Thursday while only the piano and douhlo bass of —Oiat orchestra were actually present, Jf course no one can hold ua responsible for your report, though I may state that tho full Quadrille Band (connected with the Orchestra) did not attend because wo bad decided in the afternoon to postpone the dance on account of the weather, In coming past the Drill Hall at night I found a number of people at the door, unaware of the postponement, who persuaded mo to procure a piano and hold the dance.! Even under such adverse circumstances we managed to get a lair enough muster to provo the popularity of those periodical danea held under tho auspices of the Masterton Or■cheetra, I am, etc, A, von Keisendejig.
