WELLINGTON LAND BOARD.

Ordinary Meetinq, The ordinary meeting of the Land Board was held yesterday, The Eanger forwarded a report respecting an application to A. Murray , for an additional area of Crown lands, adjoining bis seotions in Clocks 8 and I 12, Puketoi. AJekwder, In the following W> the transfers were approved, proiwed the conditions are complied,., with ;-M, Connor to Jl. Connor, M. Connor, junr, ; and W, Oonnoi, A, Gray to W. A. Stainton, W. H. Salter to vV. M'Logan, J. Cameron to J. Cameron and J, D. M'Gregor; The application of W. Sounneßß was refused, as the conditions of the Act had not been complied with. The Board approved of tho follow, ing applications to capitalise:—G, A, Lyne, H. Kruse, B. Poole, J. Bae, P, 0. Madsen, J. Stewart, F. Groves, A, Avery, J, Kennedy, J. Anderson, J. JRoberts, J. G, Oldbam, D, 8. Prince, R. Morgan, H. Wagstaff, M. J, W. Jackson, A. Jackßon, B. Strawbridge, J, Greaves, T. Barrett, and H. Osborne.

An application was received that the Board should offer section 30, block 9, Mangaono, under the optional clauses ot the Act, inßteadd*t auotion, as proposed. It waPltisolved to obtain a report from the ranger as to the va'ue of tbeMttion, and the timber on it, v,j G. T. Hall asked for permission to purchase reserve Beotion 28, block 14, Makuri, as it adjoined his section, and the mat'er was referrod Ranger for a report. J, Clulow applied to bo allowed to select allotment No, i, Beotion 10, block 4, Mangaone, as it adjoined his section, but the request was refused. G. Wateraon wrote, asking permlssion to select 100 aores of the Crown lands west of Carterton, adjoining his freehold land, Resolved, that as the land bought by him from the Crown does not adjoin Crown laads, his request could not be granted, but as the land was now being prepared for sale, he could apply for; it with others.
