There has been a wrangle about accrued thirds at the Waste Lands Board. Since the advent to power of the present Ministry, the Wellington Land Board has broken down, The old Commissioner, who had the work at bisfingers ends, was sent away, and one or two country settlers were superseded by a couple of newspaper men who are decidedly round pegs in square holes. The outcome of injudicious changes is that the Board has become of the right colour, but fit the same'time it is generally ineffective, Aft however, tbeLandDepartment of the Colony, to which it is afliljatcd, is troubled with the came complaint, it may be said to be keeping in touch with it,
