THE QUEENSLAND RELIEF FUND.

"Wellington, Friday, The Railway Commissioners desire that any persons sending by rail goods for tho relief of the sufferers in Queensland, should consign them to "The Queensland Relief Fund," [By Telegraph.—Press Association.] Dunedin, Friday. The floods meeting are largely attended, the principal speech was given by Mr Lakin, formerly Editor of the Brisbane Courier, who gave a graphic account of the devastation. The Mayor acknowledged the receipt of subscriptions amounting to £llO, exclusive of £SO sent direct by Messis Ileid and Gray. At the meeting £2O was donated.
