MASTERTON A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

General Committee Meeting,

A meeting of the General Committee of the Masterton A. and P. Association was held in the Club Hotel on Saturday aftornoon last, PresentMessrs F. Gray (Chairman), ff. Lowes, A, W. Cave, A, Stewart, J, Hflßsey, E. E. Chamberlain, T. P. Lett, W. Shaw and R. MoKay. COBREBPONDENCE.

A letter was received from the Agricultural Department of New Zealand, stating that the Agent? General is anxious to obtain, for the information of young men about to leave England, the uamea and addresses of farmers in the Colony who are willing to receive cadets, together with full panioulars of the terms which they would charge for so doing, and it was therefore asked that the names of any members of the Masterton k. and P. Association who are willing to receive cadets be forwarded for entry in a register to be kept at the Agent-General's office in London, Mr Lowes moved, and Mr A. Stewart seconded, that 'the letter be received and referred to a general meeting of members for consideration, The motion was carried. PRIZES. The Secretary Baid he had a matter to bring forward. Mr Stuckeyhad entered sheep in sections 55 and 56, His were the only entries, and no awards had been made. Mr Stuokey stated that he had a prize ticket, but there was nothing about it in the judge's book, Mr Lowes moved that Mr Stuckey's letter be received, and the Stewards in tho class bo referred to on the matter. Mr Hessey seconded and the motion was carried. NEW RULES. The new and revised rules of the Association as adopted wore read by the Secretary and on the motion of Mr Lowes were confirmed. It was resolved to submit tho new rules to the Society's solicitor, and if found in order, that they be printed and circulated amongst the members. It was resolved that the date of the next general meeting of members be fixed by the President and Seoretary. The meeting then went into Committee to discuss the list of outstanding subscriptions.
