The Egmont Farmers Union Ltd, \Ye had a very successful stock sale at Mnnaia on Wednesday the 18th lost, a great deal more activity being displayed by purchasers in looking after cuttle than has been tho case lately, so that although wo had our yards full of stock, nearly every line changed hands under the hammer,the exception boiug chiefly the fow sheep that were yarded, We quote—2 to 2i year steers, 13 18a Gd to L 4 12s; 18 mon-lis to 2 j. year steers, L37sGd to L 3 10a; fat L4 6s to L 4 18s ; cows and «a^Wto/412s Gd to L 5 2s Gd; heil'us in wiuß to L 3 7* Gd.
