It is possible that proceedings wiU bo takou by Captain Siuidatrom, of the Bieamor Invercargill, against tho witnesses on the inquest of the child Byrnß who deposed that Sundstrom dragged the woman Byrne by the feet and shoved her. On the appearance of Sundstroro's denial in the press that he used tho womun roughly, the witnesses rejoined with a letter, in which they re-affirmed the truth of their evidence. In tho Press Association tologrnm re the inquest, tho I agent regrets that it was stated that witnesses deposed that SundsLroni pushed or'" kicked" the woman the word should have been "shoved," The messago was made up from a viva voce statement, hence the error,
