EKTAHUNA ROAD BOARD.
A special meeting of the Eketabuna Eoad Board was hold in the office on Saturday last, PresentMessrs Parsons (Chairman), Mathoson, M, Neilson, Bayliss,' Anderson, Dowsett and Mowbray. Tenders were oponed for road for* motion :-Mr Sparkeman was the successful tenderer for the 80 chains of formation atParkville, prioa J8217 16s 3d. Mr Barran was the successful tenderer for tho 33 chains formation at Parkville, prioo £79 19s, It was resolved that the Board apply to tbo Land Board to be appointed a Domain Board to have oontrol of tho Cemetery Beßerve andEeoreation Ground. *f It was resolved that the Seoretfy ' writo to MoGill and ask him to maft, good his deposit of .£l2 9s by JanW ' ary 27th, 1893.
It was resolved that Mr King be asked to instruct tho roadman to work on the South Eoad for six days, and then to proceed with the culvert on
Junger's Eoad, after which the water tables in Parkvillo are to bo cleared. It was resolved that Mr Thompson bepaidiSO.'
It was decided that a deputation, consisting of the Chairman and Mr T, Baylies, wait on tho Mmistor for Landß re road through Native Reserve into the Mount Baker Blook, and also to tho road through the Totara Reserve.
It was decided that a room bo added to the present office for the use of the Engineer and that a WorVs Committee consisting of tho Chairman and Messrs Dowsett and M. Neilson be appointed.
The Board decided to agree to exi change land for a road in the Hutt Block as proposed hy l^fr§jjfc%ay,
