At Messrs Lowes and lorna salo yesterday there was the usual large attendances, and as it was the first sale of the Beason at which breeding ewes wero offered, the interest of both buyers and sellers was evident. The prices reiilised were considerably less than at corresponding sales last season, but this was generally expected, Cattle still maintain the high prices ruling for somo time past. Draught horses are in demand. Pigs show a little better with more enquiry, Store wethers brought from [ls 7d to 10s lOd; fat merinos 10s; store ditto, 5s 9d, in small numbers; ewes and lambs counting all, 5s lOd to 6s id; mixed ewes and wethers, 93 7d; lambs, 6s Id; breeding ewes, Gs lid to 7i 6d, no quotable changes in cattle; pigs, Gs 8d to 12s, Draught mare £2O; hacks and light harness horses, 60s to £l4, Second-hand rustic cart, £ls,
