NORTH WAIRARAPA BENEVOLENT SOCIETY.

Oidinary Honthlg Meeting. The Trustees of the North Woirarapa Benevolent Society met at the ; officii of the Secretary, Perry street, Mnsterton, this morning, Present : 'R, M. Galloway (in the chair), W, Perry, E, Feist, and E, H, Waddington (Secretary). Correspondence, including applications for relief and reports from tlio Police, was dealt with, The Treasurer reported a credit balance in the Bank of Now Zealund, against which there were outstanding accounts amounting to £l7, all of which wore passed for payment, leaving a small surplus on the current account. The casual cases dealt with during the month were considered, and the Secretary's action was confirmed, The regular cases were also dealt with, and the relief list, with slight amendment, was ordered to bo continued until next meeting, A woman in support of her application for assistance appeared before the Trustees and gave certain information as to her circumstances, It was decided to resume paying her rent until next meeting, A statement of receipt and expenditure in connection with the clothing of John Neill's children, who had been sont to the Burnham Industrial School, was handed in, showing a disbursement of £6 odd, the fow shillings surplus being given to the eldest girl for necessary expenses on the trip, The meeting then renninated,
