"stated that tho Secretary of tho " Greytown Cricket Club bad received " a letter from the Wellington Cricket "Club suggesting a representative "match between Wellington and " Wairarapa, The position is this ;- At tho timo of tho Inst match with the Phcenix Cricket Club Mr S. Nicholls mooted tbe idea of a reprosentativo match to take place at Greytown on tbo 23rd. instant, Mr T, J. Rowse, Secretary of tho Greytown Ciioket Club, then wrote to the Beorotary of the Wellington Crickot Association on tho subject, He received a roply stating that the suggestion was a »ootl one, nnd that in all probability a team could bf> sent up, but a definite answer could nut bo given until tho ond of tho present week. A meeting of the Match Committee oftho Greytown Cricket Club was held last evening when the 1 st and 2nd elevens were re-arrnnged as follows : Ist—Messrs S. Nicholls (capt), W. Judd, H. Hawko, A. A.
