We held our. monthly sale' at ' Okaiawa on Friday, the 28rd instant, Tbe yards were fairly well filled with a useful clssb of stock, andconsidering the near approach to the CbrihtDWß holidays there was.a pi etty good at' tendance, but the bidding was slack throughout,, and several lines of oattle returned home. without changing hands. We quote; Fat bullocks, £67s 6d; 2to 2| year steeis, £Blß* to £4l7s; 12 tn 18 months steers, £2los to £3 7s6d;oi'ws and heifers in calf, £8 10s to £4los, There was only a small number of oattle entered for our Hnwera sale on Wednesday, the 28th instant, though we had a good many people enquiring for stook, though in most cases they were not prepared to purohasa at the prices that were asked, so that some of tho lines of stook were passed in,' though all the female portion was keenly competed for, the bulk of which ohanged hands before Jeaiitig the yards. We quote; Forward buliocks, £4 138 Od; empty cows, £3 14s 6d to £4; cows and heifers in calf, £Bl4s to £4los jl2 months heifers, £2l9s to £8 2s 6d.
